Our Location

The Glebe is located  on the edge of Bamburgh in Northumberland but still with easy reach of the village facilities, the castle and the dunes and beach.

Bamburgh has a village shop, award winning butcher, several cafés, restaurants and pubs centred around the village green. There's a museum depicting the exploits of Victorian heroine Grace Darling.

Looking wider afield, the bustling sea-side village of Seahouses is a few miles away and the Holy Island of Lindisfarne is within easy driving distance. Trips to the Farne Islands, home of puffins, sea birds and grey seals are available from Seahouses. Castles at Alnwick, Dunstanburgh, Chillingham are easy trips and Alnwick and its famous gardens are a must see.

From coastal walks to days relaxing on the beach, Bamburgh is ideally located for a holiday in Northumberland.
